Is there a Screen Studio for Windows?

No. Screen Studio runs only on macOS. Cropped records with zoom on clicks on Mac and Windows, and on Linux with X11.

Is there a one-time-purchase Screen Studio alternative?

Yes. Cropped Core, which includes recording and zoom on clicks, is $24.99 once. Pro, with Jump Cuts, captions and the timeline, is optional at $24.99 a year.

Does Cropped smooth the cursor?

Not yet. Cropped records the pointer as it moved and zooms on clicks, but it doesn’t smooth the cursor’s path.

Does Cropped work on Windows and Linux?

Cropped runs on Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 14 or later), 64-bit Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04 or later with GNOME (Linux is in Beta). One license covers all three. A few things are Mac only for now, like the camera bubble, Webpage only and Smooth Scroll. See every difference.
